Liverpool travel to Italy for their final Europa League group match, and Brendan Rodgers knows a draw is likely to be enough to keep the Reds in the competition – providing Young Boys don’t beat Anzhi in Switzerland.

Rodgers has shuffled his pack throughout proceedings in Group A, and is expected to do so again at the Stadio Friuli – starting with Australian Brad Jones in goal for the Reds.

Glen Johnson travels and should start at left-back in place of Stewart Downing, with Andre Wisdom on the opposite side. Martin Skrtel and Sebastian Coates seems like the probable centre back pairing with Daniel Agger not making the trip to Italy.

In midfield, Steven Gerrard is absent after being left at Anfield, but Joe Allen travels and is expected to start. Nuri Sahin and Jonjo Shelvey will also help to play in midfield in a 4-3-3 formation.

Luis Suarez has travelled with the Liverpool squad, and will therefore be expected to start against Francesco Guidolin’s side, whilst Suso could start on one flank with Joe Cole getting another chance on the opposite side.

Liverpool predicted line-up v Udinese:

Brad Jones; Andre Wisdom, Martin Skrtel, Sebastian Coates, Glen Johnson; Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin, Jonjo Shelvey; Joe Cole, Luis Suarez, Suso.
