Arsenal predicted line-up v West Brom

Published 4 Comments

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in need a of a victory, badly, and will be hoping his side can get back to winning ways with the visit of West Brom on Saturday.

The Gunners have won just five games in fifteen in the Premier league this season and fans at Emirates Stadium have been targeting unprecedented criticism at Wenger.

Last weekend was labelled the low point in Arsenal’s season by many as they went down 2-0 at home to Swansea City, but Wenger is confident his team can turn their fortunes around.

It will be no easy task against Steve Clarke’s impressive Baggies, who have made a brilliant start to the season, getting as high as fourth two weeks ago.

However, they have lost some momentum in recent weeks and lost their last two league games, so Arsenal may have come across them at a more favourable period and will be looking to heap more misery on them.

Wenger will have to do so without a number of some key senior players as Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott were confirmed casualties this week, joining defensive absentees Bacary Sagna and Laurent Koscielny.

Here is GMF’s predicted Arsenal team:

Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Giroud.
