Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City target Beñat has admitted he is open to a move abroad amid talks over a new deal.

The Real Betis midfielder has been in impressive form this season, helping the club from Seville climb to fifth in La Liga and has attracted the interest Arsene Wenger, Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Mancini, according to the Ham & High.

The 25-year-old’s current contract runs out in 2014 and he admitted discussions had not progressed much, which have meant links to Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool.

However, the Spain international insisted a new deal would not be dictated by money and he said he would never rule out a move away from his homeland to experience a new league and culture.

“I’m not asking for a lot of money, we haven’t spoken about numbers,” he is quoted as saying.

“I am very happy at Betis and we’ll see what happens in the future, but I won’t turn my nose up at playing in another country or living in another culture.”

The Gunners have been struggling for an attacking edge this season after Robin van Persie’s departure to Manchester United, so Beñat’s versatility in attacking positions may be an attraction to Wenger.

Meanwhile, Rodgers has had to make do with only Luis Suarez as an attacking option and could well make additions in the Janaury transfer window.
