Mark Hughes hailed Manchester City´s progress to the UEFA Cup second qualifying round and then insisted new signing Tal Ben Haim will not be the last new face at Eastlands this summer.

The former Bolton and Chelsea defender cost City £5million just 24 hours before their 2-0 victory over part-timers EB/Streymur at Barnsley´s Oakwell ground on Thursday, which completed a 4-0 aggregate win.

He said: "Ben Haim is a good, experienced, Premier League defender who maybe has a point to prove. He feels he did not get enough games at Chelsea and is looking to be involved a lot more here. He will not be the only new arrival. We are looking for good players in several positions and are working on a few deals."
