Olivier Kapo is on the verge of being re-united with his former boss Steve Bruce after Wigan were reported to have agreed a £3.5millon fee with Birmingham for the forward.

Kapo is currently undergoing a medical at The JJB Stadium. He will become the Latics´ second signing of the summer following their capture of Birmingham winger Daniel De Ridder.

Latics boss Steve Bruce signed Kapo for £3million from Serie A giants Juventus last summer when he was manager of Birmingham City.
