Arsenal have become the latest in a long line of European clubs to track PSV Eindhoven youngster Jetro Williems, according to reports.
The 18-year-old full-back has made ten league appearances for Eindhoven this season having joined the Eredivisie club in 2011 from Sparta Rotterdam. He was also included in Holland's Euro 2012 squad over the summer, where he was the tournament's youngest player.
While the talented youngster is tied down with Eindoven until 2016 that hasn't stopped interest from some major European clubs, with Arsenal the latest to join the ever-growing queue.
According to the Express, Arsenal will have to battle with the likes of Juventus, Inter, AC Milan, Manchester United and Valencia if they want to land their man for around €6.5 million.
The Gunners can currently call upon Kieran Gibbs as their regular starter at left-back, and while the England international is unlikely to be moved from his starting berth, the future of his understudy Andre Santos is uncertain.
The Brazilian's inconsistent performances and his efforts to swap shirts with former Arsenal star Robin van Persie, now with Manchester United, at half-time during the Gunners 2-1 defeat at Old Trafford in November has prompted speculation he could soon leave the club.
Santos later apologised for the incident with Van Persie and has featured for the north London club since, but has been linked with a move back to Fenerbahce in January.
