Johnson: No extra pressure on Reds

Liverpool defender Glen Johnson insists talk of a top-four challenge puts no extra pressure on the players.

A 3-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa derailed some of the momentum which was building and was a missed opportunity to close the gap on the teams pushing for Champions League qualification.

In his pre-match comments, manager Brendan Rodgers insisted they should not be limiting themselves to a target of fourth place in the Barclays Premier League, and Johnson added: "There was no extra pressure because we all believe that as well. We all felt the same."
