Wright-Phillips: We must keep run going

Published Add your comment

Shaun Wright-Phillips is hoping QPR can kick on from their first league win of the season in this weekend's trip to Newcastle.

QPR secured their maiden victory at the 17th time of asking on Saturday when they beat Fulham 2-1 at Loftus Road. The victory extended their unbeaten streak under Harry Redknapp to four matches and Wright-Phillips wants that fine form to continue at St James' Park this weekend.

"We got everything we deserved," the winger told the club's official website. "We controlled the game from start to finish. I think they only had two corners and one deflected shot which went in."
