Dein concerned by Blatter proposal

Former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein is urging caution over proposals by FIFA president Sepp Blatter to restrict the number of overseas players in the English game.

Dein, once one of the most powerful men in English football, is convinced the ´six-plus-five´ rule proposed by the sport´s world governing body would damage the Premier League.

"This is probably the most contentious issue to hit English football since the Premier League (was set up) in 1992," he told Radio 5 Live´s Sportsweek. "It´s a hot potato and in my view it´s not going to get any cooler."
