Miller has to bosses to impress

Liam Miller is hoping to catch the eye of both club manager Roy Keane and international boss Giovanni Trapattoni as he brings an eventful season to a close.

The Black Cats boss placed Miller on the transfer list in February after losing patience with his poor time-keeping although to his credit he knuckled down and forced his way back into the team as the Barclays Premier League season drew to a close.

And he is now hoping to impress during Ireland´s friendly clash with Serbia at Croke Park on Saturday saying: "Things happened and that´s that, but I got back in the team and we managed to stay up as well, which is good. It´s going okay. We will just have to wait and see now."
