Speculation over the future of manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is set to continue with Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra in no hurry to complete a post-season review.

Eriksson has remained tight-lipped while on the club´s post-season tour of Asia, with former Thai prime minister Thaksin reportedly dissatisfied with the form shown in the second half of the season, which culminated in an 8-1 loss to Middlesbrough on Sunday and a ninth-placed finish in the Barclays Premier League.

The former England manager is set to meet Thaksin in Bangkok as part of the review which has been forecast by director of communications Paul Tyrrell, who said: "I´d envisage that the review would take another week at least."
