Fulham boss Roy Hodgson insists recent experience ensures his players will be psychologically ready for their day of reckoning.
The Cottagers can virtually guarantee Barclays Premier League safety if they topple FA Cup finalists Portsmouth at Fratton Park on Sunday, and victory would complete an astonishing escape act for a side that looked doomed just five matches ago.
Hodgson said: "It´s good for the players to have a bit of stress. They do need to be aware, and they certainly are, of how important this game is."
