Derby defender Andy Todd has been told he is free to find another club as boss Paul Jewell begins shaping his squad for life in the Coca-Cola Championship.

The 33-year-old, who has made 23 appearances for the relegated Rams this season, has a year remaining on his contract but has been informed he is surplus to requirements at Pride Park.

Jewell said: "I´ve spoken to Toddy, he is a good pro but we´re looking to change things around and if he can find a suitable home and it´s suitable for us then we will allow him to leave on a free transfer."
