Dublin expecting tearful exit

Published Add your comment

Dion Dublin has admitted that he will have to fight back the tears as he prepares for his final game in professional football.

The 39-year-old will turn out for Norwich against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Sunday afternoon to end a 22-year playing career.

The former Manchester United said: "I don´t know if there will be tears. I had to hold them back last weekend but if they appear they´re there for a reason. There will be sadness at not stepping over the white line again because that´s all I know."
