Reading confirm bans for pair

Published Add your comment

Reading have suspended midfielder Emerse Fae and centre-back Ibrahima Sonko for two weeks following a breach of club discipline.

The Barclays Premier League club on Thursday confirmed the pair´s ban, which rules them out for the remainder of the season. It has been reported that the pair refused to play in a reserve game against Tottenham on Monday.

"As far as I´m concerned it´s an internal disciplinary measure and it´s been dealt with," Royals manager Steve Coppell told the club´s official website www.readingfc.co.uk.
