Megson hails battling Bolton

Bolton manager Gary Megson was full of praise for his team after a 1-0 victory in their "must win" match over West Ham at the Reebok Stadium.

Kevin Davies´ 46th-minute close-range strike was enough to see off the disappointing Hammers and allowed them to claw back two points on 17th-placed Birmingham.

"It was a terrific result, a terrific performance, given the circumstances," Megson said. "There are a lot of positives to come from this and it (the result) was fully deserved."
