Anderson in Plymouth loan move

Sunderland defender Russell Anderson has joined Coca-Cola Championship side Plymouth on a month´s emergency loan deal.

The 29-year-old, a £1million signing from Aberdeen, has made only two senior appearances for the Black Cats this season because of a series of injuries.

He was one of 12 summer signings made by manager Roy Keane after turning out for the Dons on more than 300 occasions.
