Woodgate determined to help Spurs

Published Add your comment

England defender Jonathan Woodgate believes his new club Tottenham´s 11th place in the Barclays Premier League is a "false position".

The 28-year-old has finally completed his move from Middlesbrough to Spurs - and although the details of the deal have yet to be announced, Woodgate is likely to cost Juande Ramos´ side in the region of £7million.

He told Spurs TV Online: "I think it´s a false position in the league, with the quality we´ve got. I hope we can climb up the league and get as high as we can."
