Derby through on penalties

Published Add your comment

Lewis Price produced two superb penalty saves to help Derby progress through to the FA Cup fourth round following their 4-2 penalties victory over Sheffield Wednesday.

After Kenny Miller had cancelled out Steve Watson´s opener to make it 1-1 after 90 minutes, this third-round replay was settled on penalties following an uneventful extra time.

Price was the hero of the hour as he saved from Glenn Whelan and Kenny Lunt to give manager Paul Jewell his first victory since succeeding Billy Davies in November.
