Dimitar Berbatov has called for an end to speculation linking him with a transfer from Tottenham and has revealed his determination to win a trophy at White Hart Lane.

The 26-year-old will be in his first English final if Spurs get past Arsenal in the Carling Cup, with the first leg on Wednesday, but he has persistently been tipped to leave.

"There is too much speculation around my name, but most of it is foolish," Berbatov told Nova TV in Bulgaria. "It´s absurd and I´m tired of seeing my name in the newspapers. I want to live in peace. It is getting too much. I am a Tottenham player and I´m trying to give my best, so I can help my team."
