Laws reveals replay poser

Published Add your comment

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws was left weighing up the pros and cons of an FA Cup third-round replay after blowing the chance of taking a Barclays Premier League scalp.

After 23 minutes the Owls led 2-0, but then the hosts did something they have not managed this term and that was to come from behind to snatch a result.

It means the two sides will meet again at Hillsborough on Tuesday, January 15, with Laws unsure as to whether the extra game is good or bad, saying: "Both teams have got a bite of the cherry again, but it´s probably another game we don´t want. We´ve already been through a hectic Christmas period, and we want a bit of a rest from games, but now we´ll both be it at again."
