Ritchie won´t dwell on victory

Published Add your comment

Triumphant Huddersfield manager Andy Ritchie hailed his side´s thrilling FA Cup third round victory over Barclays Premier League Birmingham but insisted celebrations would last just a day.

The Terriers weighed in with a compelling performance to beat City 2-1 at the Galpharm Stadium - Chris Brandon lashing home the winning goal with less than 10 minutes remaining - but Ritchie insisted that come Monday their faltering league form would be top of the agenda.

"We rode our luck on one of two occasions but we had the chances. It´s fantastic for the town, the fans and not least the players," Ritchie said.
