Roque Santa Cruz headed home a controversial 84th-minute equaliser to wreck Manchester City´s 100% Barclays Premier League home record in a 2-2 draw.

The Paraguayan had already levelled once for Blackburn after Darius Vassell nodded the Blues in front, only for his own skipper Ryan Nelsen to gift City the lead once more.

But his 13th goal of the campaign was only allowed to stand after the nearside linesman informed referee Howard Webb he had incorrectly flagged for offside against a non-active David Dunn when David Bentley swung over the cross Santa Cruz finished off.
