Late Miller strike earns Ipswich win

Published Add your comment

A late free-kick from Tommy Miller gave Championship promotion hopefuls Ipswich yet another victory at fortress Portman Road as they edged past Scunthorpe 3-2.

Scunthorpe´s leading scorer Martin Paterson had struck twice in a thrilling first half either side of two goals in just over two minutes from Pablo Counago and Owen Garvan.

Matt Kilgallon´s first goal for Sheffield United was enough to clinch a full-blooded South Yorkshire derby as the Blades bounced back from two successive defeats to beat Barnsley 1-0.
