Defender Habib Beye scored his first Newcastle goal in the final minute to hand manager Sam Allardyce a 2-1 win - his first in seven Barclays Premier League games.

The Senegal international headed home Emre´s near-post corner as the Magpies completed a battling comeback.

Obafemi Martins had earlier cancelled out Cameron Jerome´s ninth-minute opener with a 36th-minute penalty, but after Emre had seen strong penalty appeals of his own waved away, Beye struck in the nick of time to complete a good week for Allardyce.
