Swindon director Bob Holt has confirmed manager Paul Sturrock has been granted permission to talk to Coca-Cola Championship outfit Plymouth about a return to Home Park.

Sturrock, who led Argyle to two promotions from Coca-Cola League Two to the Championship in a previous four-year spell, has reportedly been locked in talks with the Robins board on Monday in a bid to secure his exit.

Holt told the Swindon Advertiser "The club has given Plymouth Argyle permission to approach Paul Sturrock."
