Coca-Cola Championship leaders Watford were held to a 2-2 draw by a spirited Colchester side at Vicarage Road.

Watford started well as Adam Johnson scored after just four minutes, but Clive Platt levelled for the visitors in the 20th minute.

Colchester went ahead a minute after the break as Kevin Lisbie drilled home from 12 yards and the Hornets wasted a golden opportunity to pull level after 61 minutes when Marlon King´s penalty was brilliantly kept out by Dean Gerken.
