All hail Victor

Published Add your comment

Everton were singing the praises of Victor Anichebe after the youngster lifted the Toffees to a late 2-0 UEFA Cup victory against Nurnberg.

The 19-year-old came on as a substitute in the 75th minute and earned a penalty eight minutes later, which Mikel Arteta coolly converted, before the Nigerian-born striker crowned another run into the box by knocking the ball home from a sharp right angle.

Manager David Moyes is confident there is still a lot more to come: "Victor has been great for us and he really has a chance if he wants to work hard and keep improving."
