Sorry Spurs beaten again

Published Add your comment

Newcastle deepened Tottenham´s woes as Martin Jol´s men were made to pay for a dreadful defensive display at St James´ Park.

Obafemi Martins and Claudio Cacapa blasted the home side into a 2-0 lead in a six-minute spell either side of half-time.

Robbie Keane pulled one back for the visitors with 57 minutes gone to spark a fightback, but substitute James Milner´s 73rd-minute strike wrapped up the points.
