Musampa gets Sunderland chance

Former Manchester City midfielder Kiki Musampa will get a chance to stake his claim for a contract at Sunderland when he turns out for the reserves on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old, who has been training with the Black Cats since last week, has been named in a strong line-up for the clash with Liverpool in Warrington after being given permission to play.

He will be joined by Greg Halford, Ian Harte, Anthony Stokes, David Connolly and Daryl Murphy and is expected to be watched by manager Roy Keane.
