Davies incurs wrath of Albion fans

Published Add your comment

Curtis Davies admitted he has become public enemy number one with West Brom fans but has no regrets about moving to Aston Villa despite his nightmare midweek debut against Leicester in the Carling Cup.

The England Under-21 defender has seen other big-name players such as Diomansy Kamara and Jason Koumas exit Albion for Fulham and Wigan respectively but recognises he is the one who appears to have upset the fans through his departure.

Davies said: "I haven´t had a good response from the West Brom fans at all. I think I´m public enemy number one in West Bromwich but it is one of those things."
