Blues suffer more misery

Published Add your comment

Carlos Tevez and Louis Saha condemned new Chelsea boss Avram Grant to a losing start at Old Trafford as Manchester United claimed a 2-0 win.

Jose Mourinho´s successor was unable to inspire his 10-men to a second-half comeback after Tevez had capitalised on the 32nd-minute departure of Mikel John Obi just before the break, with Saha sealing victory with a controversial late penalty.

United keeper Edwin van der Sar did not have a shot to save and with only one point from their last three games, Grant will need to show managerial qualities some way better than those on his CV if he is to deliver the title to Roman Abramovich next May.
