Latics cautious over Heskey return

Published Add your comment

Wigan head physio Alan Tomlinson is reluctant to set a date for Emile Heskey´s return from injury.

The Latics announced on Monday that the England striker had an operation to insert a screw in his foot after suffering a stress fracture of his fifth metatarsal.

And Tomlinson said: "Understandably everyone wants to know when Emile will be fit again to play, but the most important thing is that he fully recovers and the foot heals properly."
