City win to go top

Bristol City beat Coventry 3-0 at the Ricoh Arena to replace the Sky Blues at the top of the Coca-Cola Championship - one point ahead of Iain Dowie´s side.

In a dominant performance from Gary Johnson´s side Michael McIndoe opened the scoring inside 15 minutes before his cross was turned into the Coventry goal by their unfortunate goalkeeper Dimitrios Konstantopoulos.

Darren Byfield put the seal on the result deep into injury time when he converted Jamie McAllister´s penetrating cross to start the celebrations early.
