Wayne Hennessey admits he is still in a "whirl" following his rapid rise to the Wales national team but has set his sights on emulating his hero Neville Southall.

The 20-year-old could be excused for being starry-eyed about his dramatic elevation from Wolves reserves to become his country´s number one goalkeeper within 12 months.

"It has all been a whirl, a tremendous feeling to have come this far in such a short space of time," said the Anglesey-born starlet.
