Ellington nears Watford move

Published Add your comment

West Brom striker Nathan Ellington is set to move to Championship rivals Watford in a £3.5million deal.

The Baggies are close to agreeing a fee with Watford for Ellington who has been angling to leave The Hawthorns for several months.

He had looked set to rejoin former club Wigan during the January transfer window only for the proposed transfer to break down. But now the 26-year-old, who has struggled to make an impact during his two-year stay with Albion, is finally poised to move following last week´s arrival of Polish striker Bartosz Slusarski.
