James McFadden scored his first goal of the season to scramble a 1-1 draw for Everton in a game they had looked like losing for long spells.

Blackburn, still unbeaten, led in the first half with Roque Santa Cruz´s third goal of the season and opted to try to contain Everton having dominated them in the first period.

But with 12 minutes left, McFadden popped up to sweep home a Mikel Arteta cross and save the day for the Toffees.
