Both Bristol teams have been rewarded for progressing to the second round of the Carling Cup with home ties against Barclays Premier League sides.

City, of the Coca-Cola Championship, will host Sven-Goran Eriksson´s Manchester City who are only being denied top spot in the top flight on goal difference after two straight wins.

The Robins drew their opening game in the Championship and will be looking to upset Eriksson in his first Carling Cup game after returning to club management, having eased through with a 3-0 victory at Brentford.
