Southampton´s miserable start to the season went from bad to worse as the Coca-Cola Championship outfit were bundled out of the Carling Cup following a 2-1 defeat to Peterborough.
Saints striker Grzegorz Rasiak headed an own goal after 21 minutes before George Boyd doubled Peterborough´s lead five minutes later.
And despite Rasiak´s 36-minute goal at the right end for the away side, the League Two outfit held on for victory.
