When you're bottom of the table, you need a bit of luck, and on Monday night, Deportivo La Coruna, rooted to the bottom of the La Liga table, got just that.

German Lux, Deportivo goalkeeper, would argue it was skill of course. The 30-year-old Argentinian shot-stopper pulled off a miraculous double save to deny Valladolid forward Oscar Gonzalez during their recent La Liga encounter.

The first save was relatively routine, a sharp reaction shot from a header, but Lux, an Argentinian international, wasn't done there.

His parry fell back to the feet of Gonzalez, who instinctively guided it back towards the net. But Lux was not to be beaten.

Still on the deck, he reached back and scooped it out, preserving a precious point for his embattled side.

It's already been billed as one of the best "saves of the season" in Spain. What do you think?

Take a look here and have your say…

But what about this one? This keeper in the Australian A-League stepped up to save a penalty in the 94th minute, before getting back up to save the rebound in spectacular fashion.

Which one is more impressive?
