Liverpool and Tottenham have been handed the toughest of the draws for Premier League clubs in the Europa League last 32, while Chelsea and Newcastle will also face tricky opposition.
A meeting with Zenit St Petersburg awaits Liverpool - the second time they have faced Russian opponents this season - and Tottenham will meet Ligue 1 title-contenders Lyon.
Chelsea, who are entered into the Europa League following their failure to defend the Champions League, have been drawn with Sparta Prague and Newcastle were paired with Ukrainian outfit Metalist Kharkiv.
Should Liverpool get the better of Russian champions Zenit, then Basel or Dnipro await in the last 16, while Tottenham's reward for beating Lyon will be a last 16 tie with either Inter Milan or Cluj.
Chelsea will have Ajax or Steaua Bucharest lying in wait in the next round of the Europa League, and Newcastle will face Anzhi Makhachkala or Hannover.
