Arsenal are tracking Sheffield United youth team star Diego de Girolamo, according to reports. The 17-year-old striker is currently the subject of a battle between Italy and England for international clearance.

Ole gunner Solskjaer has claimed his Molde defender Vegard Forren is good enough to play for Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be monitoring the young centre-back, and Solskjaer is confident the Norway international could succeed in the Premier League

Adel Taarabt has pledged his future to Queens Park Rangers - despite interest from Barcelona. The Morrocan international claims the Catalans giants want to sign him, but went on to say he's happy playing at Loftus Road.

Chelsea are reportedly considering a move for Lyon defender Dejan Lovren, as Rafa Benitez looks for a new centre-back in January. The 23-year-old has earned rave reviews for his performances in France and the Champions League, and would likely cost at least £6m

Swansea forward Michu bears no grudge against Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris after their collision last weekend. The Spaniard was floored by Lloris towards the end of Spurs 1-0 win, but Michu feels it was just an unfortunate, and no-one was too blame.

Vincent Kompany is a major doubt for Manchester City visit of Reading this weekend. The Belgian international picked up a groin injury in the Manchester derby, and could miss several games over the Christmas period.
