Leeds starlet Danny Rose has signed for Tottenham after the two clubs agreed a compensation package for the midfielder.

The 17-year-old England youth international gave the League One side notice of his intention to resign from his scholarship at Elland Road earlier this month and was believed to be in talks with a number of Barclays Premier League clubs.

Tottenham won the race for Rose´s signature after agreeing to pay Leeds an undisclosed fee, which sees the youngster follow in the footsteps of Spurs´ England duo Paul Robinson and Aaron Lennon, who graduated from the United academy.
