Shoulder injury rules out Vaughan

Everton striker James Vaughan will miss the start of the Barclays Premier League season after dislocating a shoulder.

The 19-year-old was injured in a collision with Youl Mawene during Wednesday´s 1-1 draw with Preston.

Assistant boss Alan Irvine told evertonfc.com: "It will be months rather than weeks with James - a couple of months I should expect."
