Sunderland open Sky coverage

Sky Sports will begin their coverage of the 2007-08 Barclays Premier League season with newly-promoted Sunderland´s opening day clash with Tottenham.

The match will be screened at 12.45pm on Saturday, August 11 and will be the first of 92 to be shown by the broadcaster during the campaign, their most ever.

Sky, who have been covering the Premier League since its inception in 1992, will show two more matches the following day as champions Manchester United take on Reading and Chelsea host Birmingham.
