Published Add your comment

Ipswich have made a fresh offer to Blackburn for Francis Jeffers.

Rovers are believed to want £1million for the former England striker, who impressed during a loan spell at Portman Road towards the end of last season.

But Town chairman David Sheepshanks insists the Coca-Cola Championship side will not be held to ransom despite receiving around £2.5million from the sell-on fee following ex-Ipswich star Darren Bent´s big-money move from Charlton to Tottenham.
