Published Add your comment

Derby have signed Tyrone Mears on a three-year permanent contract from West Ham.

The Barclays Premier League newcomers initially took the full-back on loan in January but have paid the Hammers £1million to keep the player at Pride Park.

"We are delighted to complete this deal because Tye is a very good young full-back with excellent pace and potential," said manager Billy Davies.
