There is a "fair chance" of Sven-Goran Eriksson becoming the next Manchester City manager, according to the man brokering Thaksin Shinawatra´s takeover of the club.

And Keith Harris, executive chairman of Seymour Pierce Investment Bank and the intermediary in Thaksin´s takeover, said: "There is a fair chance that Eriksson will take the job."
