Michael Owen is confident he will soon be back on the goal trail for England.

The Newcastle striker made a welcome return to full international duty when he completed 83 minutes of Friday´s friendly against Brazil at Wembley after recovering from the knee injury which prematurely finished his World Cup campaign in Germany.

It will be a year to the day on Sunday since the striker last found the net, when scoring against Jamaica at Old Trafford, but Owen has declared: "I am not concerned about my game. I know it has been a long time out, but I am just happy to be back out on the pitch now, not feeling any problems in my knee."
