Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce is looking forward to working on a "more level playing field" following his move to St James´ Park.
The former Bolton boss was used to feeding on comparative scraps at the Reebok Stadium, where the funds available were a fraction of those enjoyed by the Barclays Premiership´s big guns.
"The club (Bolton) supported me and gave me as much as they possibly could - but that was always limited," said Allardyce. "The resources here are far greater. It´s a more level playing field with the big boys."
